A business satisfies a need.
Lean is the method to reduce waste in any business.
What is Lean?
Some Lean concepts:
- The Customer is first.
- Lean is built culture that is less stressed. (Derivative of the Toyota Production System/Kaizan)
- By coaching & training continuously; this provides increased value flow to business and customer.
- Instead of building batch work; make just when needed. Just-in-time.
- Lean is not sterile concept; just good processes at-work.
- Any industry standard becomes "a joke" as the Lean concept is vastly superior.
- The Lean goal is to see waste and eliminating waste through continuous improvement.
- Hire for character and teach for skill.
- People go to work to continuously improve; constantly re-adjust (saves time in the long-run).
- Towards Zero Struggle. Work smarter, not harder! Why struggle?
